Learn from my mistake!

The stake told me to use this blog in any way that will help the families of our ward. So, here's something that may help your family.

A few of you know that my family and I have been very sick this week. It started Sunday with fevers. We found out yesterday that my husband has swine flu. If I understand it correctly, basically the swine flu is the flu with really high fevers. The first 7 days of swine flu it's highly contagious, so we are all staying home. The girls and I have the flu. It has been quite the learning experience and trial.

This is the first year we haven't had our flu shots. It bothers me to think that I may have prevented this had I made getting flu shots a priority. The doctor in Nephi told us we are the first case of swine flu he has seen this year. Hopefully, you were smarter than me and acted on it several months ago.

If not, Go get your flu shots! Learn from my mistake.
