Mona 3rd Ward Sisters Challenge:

To Become “More Fit for His Kingdom” Physically and Spiritually

(More Holiness Give Me, Hymn # 131)

1 Corinthians 3:16, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the

Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

Dear Mona 3rd Ward Sisters,

As spring approaches, many of us feel a certain motivation for change and growth. To support us in these efforts, we’ve developed a 12-week personal challenge for each sister to gain spiritual and physical strength. By participating in this challenge we hope you will feel better in a physical aspect to accomplish your daily obligations; of greater importance, we hope you feel a closer relationship with your Savior so His blessings enrich your life.

We hope this challenge becomes a unifying experience for all of us as we work towards a common goal. Do what is best for you, whether working privately or together with friends. On any level, progress in these areas will help each of us to feel better and become “More Fit for His Kingdom.”

The Challenge: To become more Physically and Spiritually fit.

Timeline: March 20, 2011 – June 11, 2011 (12 Weeks)

* We will end the challenge with a celebration of our progress at the

Relief Society Meeting on Thursday, June 16th 2011.

What do I need to do?

Set a goal for yourself each week. (Ex: healthy habit, physical endurance, spiritual growth, accumulated points, etc.)

Use the tracking sheet to tally points for any of the activities listed.

This may be a good tracking system for you to evaluate where you currently are and guide you to set goals for yourself.

Start small if needed, making progress in the areas that benefit you is what’s most important.

Involve the sisters around you! Make it fun.

Keep track of how you are doing and the changes you may experience. Make it a growing experience for you and those around you.

Don’t give up!
