Last sunday we spotlighted Melanee Phillips in Relief Society. Here are a few things you may not have known about her.
Melanee's favorite color is violet because she loves it's depth and intensity. In her free time she likes to organize, decorate, sing, play flute & piano, sew, embroider, try new crafts and spend time with her family. Her favorite "pig-out" foods are chocolate, caramel, peppermint patties, anything gooey and decadent. One quality she likes about herself is that she never gives up (D&C 128:22). Something cool that not many people know about her is that 5 of her 7 children were home births & 2 of them were water births. Malachi was born in a barn. Her favorite hymn is "The Lord is My Light", #89. It reminds her to focus on the Savior. He is the answer to all our fears, plus a couple dozen more.
Melanee is such a great part of our ward. We love getting to know her. We love you, Melanee!
